Examples: livestream video and audio, uploaded videos, clips, photos, comments, messages, support communications

Activity and Event Data
Examples: events registered for, indoor or outdoor participation, simulator or performance data where applicable, scoring records, attendance, timestamps, interactions, engagement
Why: event operations, historical records, analytics, performance tracking, feature development

Location Data
Examples: GPS location during events, course overlays, approximate location from IP address
Why: scoring and event functionality, course and venue features, fraud prevention, analytics

Device and Network Data
Examples: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, language settings, crash logs

Contacts Data (If Enabled)
Examples: contact names, emails, or phone numbers depending on permissions

Note: ParFour does not store full payment card numbers when third party processors are used

Precise Location: If you grant location permissions, we may collect GPS level location to support event scoring, course mapping, livestream overlays, and location based features.

Approximate Location: We may infer approximate location from IP address for analytics, security, and general service operations.

Indoor Facilities and Simulators: In indoor golf facilities or simulator environments, location or performance data may be derived from venue systems or simulator providers rather than GPS.

You may control location permissions through your device settings. Disabling location may limit functionality.

3.5 Contacts and Address Book

If you enable features requiring contact access, we may request permission to access your contacts. If permission is not granted, those features may be unavailable.

3.6 Information From Third Parties

Login Providers: If you sign in using Apple or Google, we receive information such as a unique identifier and email address subject to your provider settings.

Service Providers and Partners: We may receive analytics, attribution, advertising, simulator, venue, or event related data from providers we use to operate the Services.

5.1 Public and Community Sharing and Event Visibility

The Services may be social or event based by design. Depending on your settings and participation, your profile information, content, scoring, or activity may be visible to other users, event participants, or the public.

If you post or livestream publicly, others may capture or share that content. ParFour cannot control third party use once content is public.

Visibility for minors may be limited based on policy, event configuration, or legal requirements.

6. User Content, Retention, and ParFour Rights

User content may be stored, processed, and reused by ParFour as necessary to operate, improve, and promote the Services.

You retain ownership of your content. You grant ParFour a broad license to host, store, display, modify, and distribute content consistent with the Terms of Service.

We may retain content and related metadata after deletion or account closure where reasonably necessary for:

  • Legal compliance
  • Dispute resolution
  • Enforcement
  • Safety and abuse prevention
  • Business continuity
  • Aggregated or deidentified analytics

ParFour supports youth and school based participation.

We collect personal information of minors only as necessary to operate events, scoring, registrations, and participation features.

Parents, guardians, schools, clubs, and authorized organizers are responsible for obtaining required consent for minor participation.

If you believe personal information of a child under 13 has been collected improperly, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.

12. Data Retention

We retain personal information as long as necessary for operational, legal, accounting, safety, and historical purposes, including event records, payment transactions, and dispute resolution.

13. International Transfers

ParFour is based in the United States. Information may be transferred and processed in the United States or other countries where service providers operate.

We are not responsible for third party privacy practices. Use of third party services is governed by their policies.
